Moving Beyond Being a Home School Mom After High School

So now you find yourself out of work, as your home schooler is off to college! Well wahhootie, you did it! Success story for the home schooler, but now what? What will you do with your time, the time you spent so many years devoting to your home school?

Ever thought of volunteering to help other home school moms who are struggling to keep their little home school operating?

How about starting up a home school support group, where Moms who have questions about whether they are qualified to teach, or just flat crazy, can ask questions and get support.

What about a home school question and answer page, where they can communicate with other Moms who are experiencing the same types of issues.

You are now an expert on home schooling, you have been there, done that! You know what it took on certain days to keep going, you know if someone could have encouraged you at that moment, just said something like, "This too shall pass", you could have laughed together and gone on with a touch more sanity in your hand!

Whatever it is that you do, don't waste the time you invested, there is a great need for people who have overcome obstacles in their own lives, to share with others.

Ever thought of going back to public school to become a public school teacher? Others need the same type of education you gave to your own kiddos, after all, you have taught all grades, you know what to expect from all age groups!

Whatever you do, give thanks that someone, somewhere, encouraged you to stay at it, to provide your children with the very best possible education and teacher you could offer, You!
