Oh My Word It's High School Home School

By this time in life, as your kids reach high school age, you have discovered you know little or nothing of the world today! These guys can put you through the mill. Hmm, Maybe they deserve to be stuck in the public school system, but then consider, do you deserve having to deal with them when they come home?

All kidding aside, if you have invested the years it takes to get your kids through preschool, primary school, middle school, and now up to high school, you deserve some kudos!

You have been investing in schooling for your kiddos, while doing a great deal of learning for yourself at the same time. Learning how to sacrifice the hours of self indulgence is a major learning process. Many Moms have succumbed to this pressure and regretted later the choice.

When you think you need, me time, take it! But use it wisely, sit in a quiet place, seek wisdom for what you have missed that you should find it so necessary to have this, me time, in the middle of your school schedule.

The challenge of teaching the high schooler, is not much different than the ones you faced with earlier ages. You need to find motivational training props to help keep their interest.

By now you have probably visited all of the art museums, naval bases, historic sites, taken vacations with educational values in the most prominent position, that you can think of! Well, pat yourself on the back, they've made it to high school!

These years you should begin to see how short your training years have been, you begin to realize that whatever you wanted to get in, is getting close to its end.

The high school home schooler, should be showing signs of not suffering the same degradation as their peers! You've had a good shot at teaching foundational beliefs that will remain with them throughout this life.

I hear many parents who think if they have home schooled up to high school, they probably should send their kiddos to public school now! I ask, why on earth would you want to subject them to the peer pressures such as they will experience in high school?

For crying out loud use your head, nothing has changed from the time you chose to home school a preschooler, until now! No magic wand has been waved to make it good to send them away on daily basis to high school!

Afraid that you will not be equipped to teach what is required of your child, is no excuse for handing them into the hands of the, "enemy", who does not believe in the same God and authority you do!

At what age do you think they should be sent into the pits of the devil? Think again, go and walk down the halls of the educational facility where you are considering sending them, what do you see?

Now ask yourself, are these teachers and students more equipped than I am to prepare my child for life?

What a crock! We get fed by a society who does not agree with our beliefs, that we should send our children out to their camps to be taught by the unbelieving, how to fit into this society.

I for one, do not fit into this society, for I have old fashioned ideas and ideals for myself and my country! I want to continue to experience life with choices, I want my kids to say please and thank you, I want them to respect the rights of others, to recognize with respect, their elders, I want them to know the Pledge of Allegiance, to be citizens, who stand at the passing of Old Glory, who know what Old Glory is, and what she represents, I want them to know that our Forefathers were God fearing men, who wanted freedom for all, I want them to know that when we take God out of our leadership, we are removing any guarantee we have for protection of our Country!

Yes, high school will present some new challenges, but you are ready, believe me when I say, if you want the best for your children, give it to them, home school through High School!
