There is one adhesive that most of us are familiar with. Any time an item is broken we apply this adhesive. However, when a spill of the adhesive occurs, most us do not know what to do. Also we may sometimes glue our fingers accidentally. Sometimes, balsa wood or plastic can be stuck our skin! Not to worry. Super glue removal is very easy.
Acetone is the solvent that can take all your worries away. It is easily found in nail polish remover. However confirm that the remover actually has acetone. Put two to three drops of the remover on your skin and gently remove the glue. The skin can be ripped off. Be careful. Wash with soap and water. Acetone is not good for the skin. Apply lotion to prevent dryness.
Super glue removal from a fabric is not difficult. Acetone can be applied directly. It may however discolor the fabric. Use an old toothbrush during the application. Remove the glue layer by layer. Brush on the outside then on the inside. Acetone may be applied similarly on counters, tables and floors. Reapply the solvent if the adhesive does not come out.
It is advisable not to apply the adhesive on broken glass. If applied, keep the pieces in water until they separate. Acetone damages glass. If the adhesive is on your lips, apply hot water. Use a teaspoon handle or a pencil to roll the lips apart. Also make use of saliva. It will help lift the adhesive in 1-2 days. If the adhesive comes into contact with your eyes use warmed 3% sodium bicarbonate solution to wash the eyes. See? Super glue removal is very easy.
