Increase Your Gas Mileage and Reduce Toxic Emissions
By William H Rowe
Your car is a tool. It's something that you can't perform everyday task without. I mean, in most cases, you cannot survive without your car. So wouldn't it be to your advantage to increase your gas mileage and in the process reduce toxic emissions?
Without your car, you wouldn't be able to get back and forth to work. You would not be able to take the weekend trip to the shopping mall or to your relatives who live in the next town or maybe out of state. So why is it that so many of you take your cars for granted by neglecting to perform required maintenance on them or doing the little and relatively easy things that can help increase your gas mileage and reduce toxic emissions? The fact is, if you take care of your cars, they will take care of you.
There are several things you can do that will help to contribute to the long life of your cars, thereby increasing your gas mileage, not to mention contributing to your peace of mind and well-being. Like getting regular tune-ups and having it inspected often between the regular required inspections. One of the easiest and least expensive things you can do for your car is to change the oil on a regular basis. Now as far as the tune-up and oil change, these are task that should be performed by a qualified mechanic or at least a person with some knowledge of these functions. However the inspections that can aid in increasing your gas mileage don't have to be performed by a mechanic. If you are a person with an adequate knowledge of cars, probably you can do them yourself. If not, perhaps you can have a friend look it over for you. I'm talking about:
1.Checking wires for wear and tear. you are looking for places where the wires are exposed or frayed.
2.Checking hoses for leaks, cracking or brittleness. Hoses should be flexible and plyable when squeezed.
3.Look at the places where you park your car to see if there are any oil spills or water leakage aside from natural condensation caused by the air conditioner.
4.Check your tire pressure... this simple procedure alone can save you thousand of dollars by increasing your gas mileage.
There are other things you can do to make your car perform better, thereby increasing your gas mileage.
All the while making it a better fit for the environment too. There are certain thing you can do that can help reduce maintenance cost, increase miles per gallon, and at the same time reduce toxic emissons, and other pollutants
One thing you can do is look into companies whose focus is to clean up the environment through technology aimed at reducing emissions and at the same time increasing your mileage.
There are several companies engaged in this type of research and technology, producing products that help reduce the harmful emissions your automobile releases into the atmosphere, while also literally saving you hundreds of dollars a year by increasing your mileage as well!
Saving the earth while helping your pocketbook ... What else could be better than reeling in two fish with one hook?
One product that getting rave reviews on both improving the environment by reducing emissions and pollutants, while increasing you gas mileage, is EthosFR.
