Reading and collecting a comic book is a pastime of some people. Owning one of the rare comic book editions is also an exciting hobby to do. However, it is going to be better if the one you think is a rare edition is authentic. In this case, graded comics are the ones that you have to prioritize owning.

Graded comics need to undergo a certain Certified Guarantee Company or CGC process to assure that the authenticity as well as the good quality is met. Receiving, Grading, Encapsulating, and Shipping are the four stages that would complete the CGC Grading Process. Each stage is thoroughly managed to ensure that the final output will meet the finest standard.

In acquiring comics that have been graded, you do not have to worry of the quality of the comics that you own because you will be at peace that your copy has been assessed carefully and the grade that it has is really according to the condition that it possess when submitted to CGC. Though CCG has the right to assess a lot of comic books, they are not allowed to buy or sell these items to avoid conflict of interests.

Some authenticated comics have received a good grade. In rare cases, certain comic books have received a perfect grade of 10. The grading scale of the CGC process has this 1-10 scale where 1 is poor and 10 is considered very good. Though some comics existed even several decades ago, some of them are still able to be in a fair condition.

Graded comic books that are so rare are really expensive. Fortunately, some of them are still able to be on sale, although the sale amount is still a bit high. Perhaps you would not mind spending this amount if what you will get in return is the one that will satisfy a comic collector's heart.
